Q. I find bookish men very attractive. Thus I am interested in how to meet well read men, I thought literary speed dating would be a good way. Can people tell me how to find literary speed dating events or other ways of finding men who love to read. thanks Dating websites aren't for me I am about average looking(rated on website) however I am not very photogenic and I look about 10 years younger than my actual age and as dating websites largely rely on your appearance they are not a good option.

A. Well it's really nice that you're going the right way about this. All you can really do is try to talk him out of it, I mean if he loves her he won't go speed-dating whatsoever. But him even thinking about it makes me wonder if he's a good boyfriend. (Sorry, not trying to put your friend down-just saying that maybe he's not ready for a commitment or something yet.) But if he does see his faults and says you're right, then I'm sure he was pretty much just caught up in it and wasn't really thinking about her.
