Well a good way of taking notes is what my 7th grade teacher taught me. Cornwall notes. You draw a line along the blue line of the piece of notebook papers and every 6 lines you draw a line horizontally. On the left side you put a topic and the right side you put main points. This helped me alot during tests. Also be sure to take 90% of what the teacher is saying as notes and 10% of listening. Keep your notes organized by labeling them and use labels. Highlight only the important topics like birth-dates and what people did or locations. Stay organized by keeping a planner of test dates and important dates. Use folders of different subjects.
