Q. I find bookish men very attractive. Thus I am interested in how to meet well read men, I thought literary speed dating would be a good way. Set up a system to gather people's email addresses, so that when you have an event you can do a big email mailing to let people know. Do you have your own web site? Can you give flyer's to all the bartenders at the singles bars? Can you put up flyer's on the bulletin boards at the colleges? Can you put up flyer's on the bulletin boards at the social hall on the base? How about those ads on the screen in the theater before the movie starts? How about those coupon mailings that we get in the mail?

Speed dating is a match making service where several clients are gathered in a social setting and they get to talk seated face to face, one on one with each other at 8-minute intervals. If there is some interest, further information could be exchanged after the session. It is fast paced but some find it a lot better than online dating service because it offers meeting prospectives up close and personal. Is there anything like this going on in the Philippines? I believe in Hong Kong, speed dating is already being done.

Advertise, lease the meeting place, set the clocks and explain the rules, give everyone a "rating" card and you set up a way for them to meet later. You get paid at the front door. A. I think it is a good way to meet people since most of us get some kind of initial feeling for a person we meet right away anyway no matter where we meet them. I think I would use my time to try and get an idea about what is important to the person...is it family, occupation, money, etc...and if I was searching for a partner, I would want to know family was tops in their life.
